Environmental Protection
Environmental protection is an imperative of our times. That is why KfW promotes investments by commercial enterprises in the protection of water, air and the soil, in energy conservation and in the use of renewable energies.
Some programmes give special support to particular regions. Go to Service to see which regions, municipalities, districts and cities are included in which assisted regions (in German).
The interest terms and conditions applicable under the environmental programmes are fixed on the basis of the borrower's credit standing and the value and recoverability of the collateral provided for the loan.
