Reorganization of equity finance
Here, start-ups, tech companies and established SMEs can find tailor-made transparent offers of equity finance products.
The previous programmes of KfW Mittelstandsbank and of tbg were combined and overlaps eliminated. For new business, now only KfW Mittelstandsbank is present in the market. The know-how of tbg was integrated into KfW Mittelstandsbank.
The ERP Start Fund constitutes the core of our range of products in the area of early-stage financing. Together with private investors it offers equity finance to young technological firms.
In the later stage segment, the ERP Participation Programme offers equity finance to established SMEs.
In addition, under the initiative 'equity for the SME sector at large' KfW Mittelstandsbank is attempting to close the 'equity gap' that has been identified for participations ranging between EUR 1-5 million. A pilot project has been carried out in Bavaria. Further refinancing and guarantee programmes are also available.
